Doug Lambert received his MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business (Booth), a BA in economics from Whitman College, and has over 20 years of experience in finance and strategic planning. During his junior year at Whitman, the University of Chicago awarded him with a fellowship to the Graduate School of Business where he studied finance and portfolio theory under the direction of prominent Nobel Prize winning economists and worked as a graduate level teaching assistant. For five years he served as a volunteer firefighter/emergency medical technician with Tiger Mountain Fire and Rescue, qualified for and competed in the United States Triathlon Series National Championship, and has coached the King County Special Olympics Golf Team. He lives in Redmond with his wife of 17 years and their two boys.

Amanda Wright, JD, CLU®

Amanda joined The Nautilus Group in 2006, where she is responsible for case development and research regarding estate, business, tax, and insurance issues. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in Spanish from Butler University in Indianapolis, IN. She earned her JD from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX, where she graduated with honors. Amanda's interest in estate planning during law school led to opportunities that included volunteer work with Dallas Legal Hospice.
   

Britney Zollinger Clark, JD, CFP®

Britney joined The Nautilus Group Case Development staff in 2006. Britney works with Member Agents to develop sophisticated estate and business plans, along with customized research. Britney is a valuable resource for charitable planning issues, and conducts charitable planning training for Nautilus staff. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX, and a JD from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, IL.
   

Brooke Zrno Grisham, CLU®, AEP®

Brooke is CEO of The Nautilus Group. She joined Nautilus in 1999 and started one of its most innovative departments – Model Office – which grew from an ancillary support resource for the Nautilus Members’ staff to a comprehensive practice management consultancy. In 2010, Brooke assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer for The Nautilus Group, supervising seven individual departments and managing a staff of more than 35 people. Prior to working for Nautilus, Brooke was a corporate trainer for a Fortune 100 company. She attended Boise State University and The University of Texas at Dallas, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Communications.
   

Carolyn England, JD

Carolyn started her career at New York Life in 2007 as a consultant for the Advanced Planning Group where she developed large cases and provided on-site support for the Houston General Office. She joined Nautilus in 2011, specializing in the development of life insurance and estate planning strategies for both high net worth individuals and closely-held businesses. Carolyn attended Boston University and The University of Texas at Dallas and holds a BS in Business Administration. She earned her JD from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, and has worked as an attorney in private practice, focusing on estate planning and family law issues.
   

Corbett Ray, MBA, CFP®

Corbett joined the Nautilus Group in 2008 to provide financial plan reviews for member agents affiliated with Eagle Strategies. Corbett came to New York Life from a financial services career which began in 1999. He was an agent, Registered Representative, and Investment Adviser Representative for a large international financial services firm. Since then he has had extensive experience providing financial planning services for high net worth clients in complex situations. Corbett graduated from Rice University with a BA in Economics, and received his MBA in Finance/Accounting from Tulane University.
   

Eric J. Hancz, MBA, CFA, CPA, ChFC®, CVA, CLU®

Eric has been with The Nautilus Group since 2002 as Director of Finance. He holds a BA degree from Franklin College in Franklin, IN, and an MBA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Eric is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a Chartered Financial Consultant and a Certified Valuation Analyst. Prior to coming to Nautilus, Eric worked as Senior Financial Analyst for a business valuation and operations management consulting firm.
   

Heather Davis, JD, CLU®, ChFC®

Heather currently serves as the High Net Worth Marketing Manager and oversees marketing for both the Advanced Planning Group and The Nautilus Group®. Heather has worked in the life insurance and financial services industry since 1997 and has been with New York Life Insurance Company since 1999. She’s authored numerous life insurance, retirement, business succession and estate planning articles and is an experienced speaker and continuing education instructor. Heather heads the Center of Influence initiative, and is the program director for the Feldman Forum, an annual continuing education seminar that is broadcast live to all New York Life agents. Heather graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Nebraska where she received both her BA and JD degrees. Heather also is a registered representative with NYLIFE Securities LLC.
   

James S. Barry, JD, LL.M., CLU®, ChFC®

Jim serves as the head of the Nautilus Plus unit at The Nautilus Group. He provides personalized consultative services to an elite group of 25 Member Agents, bringing client solutions for estate, business, insurance, and charitable planning. Jim and his staff are also available as a resource to facilitate the brainstorming process between the Nautilus Member Agent, the client, and the client’s circle of advisors. Jim has been in the life insurance industry since 1982. He received his law degree from the University of Georgia, his LL.M. in Taxation from the College of William and Mary, and earned significant credits at the University of Miami LL.M. program in Estate Planning. Jim is a member of AALU.
   

Karen Fishell, CLU®

Karen has been with The Nautilus Group since 1998. She works with Member Agents to provide detailed client presentations for corporate executive benefit arrangements including non-qualified deferred compensation plans for companies and non-profit organizations as well as executive bonus plans. Prior to joining Nautilus, Karen worked 11 years for one of the nation’s largest COLI and executive benefits organizations, providing support to top financial professionals across the country with their executive benefits planning design needs.
   

Kathryn Rodgers, JD, LL.M

Kathryn joined The Nautilus Group Case Development staff in 2007. Kathryn received her BS in Accounting from Louisiana State University, her JD from St. Mary's University, and her LL.M. from Southern Methodist University. Prior to joining Nautilus, Kathryn worked as a manager at a local accounting firm. As a case consultant at Nautilus, Kathryn assists agents in the development and implementation of estate and business plans for clients. She also provides advanced tax research.
   

R. Matthew Pate, JD, LL.M.

Matt has been with Nautilus since 2004. Matt is in charge of the Case Consultants, providing high-level technical consultations and analyses for Nautilus staff as well as on-going development of Nautilus presentation and technical materials. He also conducts reviews, estate and business planning strategies, consultative services and research for Nautilus Member Agents and their clients. Matt received his B.S. from Georgetown University in 1998 with majors in Accounting, Finance and International Business; his law degree from the University of Texas in 2001; and his LL.M. from Southern Methodist University in 2003.
   

Michelle M. Kenyon, JD, CPA

Michelle joined The Nautilus Group in 2009, where she serves with the Nautilus Plus unit leader to provide personalized consultative services to an elite group of 25 Member Agents. Michelle began her legal career in Atlanta, Georgia. Her professional experience includes estate planning, mergers and acquisitions, taxation, and general corporate work. Michelle’s undergraduate degree in accounting is from Texas Christian University, and she holds a JD from Pepperdine University School of Law.
   

Richard Baier, JD, CLU®, ChFC®, AEP, CRPC®, CFP®, FLMI

Richard joined The Nautilus Group in 2010 as a Case Consultant in the Business and Estate unit. As an attorney with more than 30 years of financial, estate, business and benefits planning experience, he has provided sales concepts and supporting materials on estate and business planning and other advanced sales topics to companies and producers across the nation. Richard received his bachelor's degree in history from Brigham Young University and his law degree from Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis. Richard has passed the Series 6, 7, 26, and 63 securities licensing exams administered by FINRA.
   

Richard Holman, JD, CFP®, CLU®

Rick came to The Nautilus Group from Genworth Financial, where he served as an Advanced Marketing Attorney. Prior to that, he was with Raymond James & Associates as a Financial Planning Consultant and an Advanced Case Design Specialist. He is a published speaker at meetings on estate planning, special needs, asset protection, and retirement planning. He also is part of New York Life's Affluent Initiative, and develops and promotes Lifetime Wealth Strategies at The Nautilus Group. He earned his undergraduate degree in Politics from the University of Miami, and his JD from Florida State University.
   

Spencer D. Brown, JD

 
Spencer joined The Nautilus Group Case Development staff in 2009. He received his BBA in Marketing from the University of Texas at Austin and graduated Cum Laude with a JD from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. While in law school, Spencer served as a staff writer for the SMU International Law Review and as a law clerk for a successful Dallas litigation firm. Prior to joining Nautilus, Spencer enjoyed a successful eight-year career as a product manager with a Fortune 500 technology company.
